Mr Stirling

Mr Stirling's Poem

Piri the Swaying Tree

Swing, sway ice cold leaves

Tree branches holding nectar for bees

Until summer the arms remain bare

But, dont be scared,

they return to bloom at the end of term

Standing proud, strong and tall

Protected and loved by all

Piri the pohutukawa

Tall champion of the Forrest
